Kepler-376 and Its Two Known Planets

Kepler-376 is a star located 3010 light-years away, and two planets have been identified in orbit around it. The host star is 5.89 billion years old and has a reported mass of 1.06 solar masses, a radius of 1.24 solar radii, and a temperature of 5910 K. Its mass, radius, and temperature are all reported as larger or hotter than the Sun's.

Both planets were discovered by transit in 2014. Kepler-376 b is classified as Earth-like and completes an orbit in 4.92 days, with a radius of 1.07 Earth radii. Among the listed planets, it has the shortest year and the smallest radius by reported estimates. Kepler-376 c is a Super-Earth with an orbital period of 14.2 days and a radius of 1.79 Earth radii. Its radius is larger than Earth's, and among the listed planets it has the longest year and the largest radius by reported estimates.
