Kepler-335 is a star located 4170 light-years away, and two planets have been reported orbiting it. The host star is 4.37 billion years old, with a mass of 1.23 solar masses, a radius of 1.68 solar radii, and a temperature of 5930 K. Its mass, radius, and temperature are all larger or hotter than the Sun's.
Both planets were discovered by transit in 2014, the method in which a planet passes in front of its star and causes a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-335 b is Neptune-like, with a radius of 3.39 Earth radii and an orbital period of 6.56 days. Kepler-335 c is also Neptune-like, with a radius of 3.07 Earth radii and an orbital period of 67.8 days. Both planets are larger than Earth in radius.
Among the listed planets, Kepler-335 b has the shortest year by reported estimates, while Kepler-335 c has the longest. Kepler-335 b also has the largest radius, and Kepler-335 c has the smallest radius, at 3.07 Earth radii.
