Kepler-301 and Its Three Planets

Kepler-301 is a star 2350 light-years away, and three planets have been found orbiting it. The star is estimated to be 4.17 billion years old, with a mass of 0.98 solar masses, a radius of 0.96 solar radii, and a temperature of 5720 K.

All three planets were discovered by transit in 2014. Kepler-301 b and Kepler-301 c are both Earth-like, each with a radius of 1.35 Earth radii. Kepler-301 b has an orbital period of 2.51 days and Kepler-301 c has an orbital period of 5.42 days. Kepler-301 d is a Super-Earth with a radius of 1.75 Earth radii and an orbital period of 13.8 days.

Among the listed planets, Kepler-301 b has the shortest year, Kepler-301 c has the second-shortest year, and Kepler-301 d has both the longest year and the largest radius.
