Kepler-264 and Its Two Neptune-Like Planets

Kepler-264 is a star located 3070 light-years away, and two planets have been found orbiting it. The star is estimated to be 2.57 billion years old, with a mass of 1.46 solar masses, a radius of 2.02 solar radii, and a temperature of 6260 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's.

Both planets are Neptune-like worlds discovered by transit in 2014. Kepler-264 b has an orbital period of 40.8 days and a radius of 3.33 Earth radii, while Kepler-264 c has an orbital period of 140 days and a radius of 2.83 Earth radii. Among the listed planets, Kepler-264 b has the shortest year and the largest radius by reported estimates, and Kepler-264 c has the longest year and the smallest radius by reported estimates. Each planet's reported radius estimate is larger than Earth's.
