Kepler-1960 and Its Lone Known Planet

Kepler-1960 is a star 4980 light-years away with one known planet. The host star has a mass of 1.08 solar masses and a radius of 1.29 solar radii, both larger than the Sun's corresponding values, and a temperature of 5940 K, hotter than the Sun's.

The only listed planet is Kepler-1960 b, an Earth-like world discovered by transit in 2021. A transit occurs when a planet crosses in front of its star from our viewpoint, dimming the observed brightness; repeated dips help establish the orbital period. This planet completes one orbit every 2.3 days and has a radius of 1.31 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. Its size classification compares radius with Earth's, and an Earth-like planet stays within 1.5 times Earth's radius.
