Kepler-1935 and Its Neptune-Like Planet

Kepler-1935 is a star located 2950 light-years away. It has 0.845 solar masses, 0.899 solar radii, and a temperature of 5570 K, making its reported mass estimate smaller than the Sun's and its reported temperature cooler than the Sun's. One planet is known to orbit this host.

Kepler-1935 b is a Neptune-like planet discovered by transit in 2021. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness; repeated dips help establish orbital periods. This planet completes an orbit every 3.95 days and has a radius of 2.5 Earth radii, which is larger than Earth's.
