Kepler-1880 b: A Super-Earth Around a Cool Dwarf Star

Kepler-1880 is a single-star system located 1990 light-years from Earth. The host star has a mass of 0.524 solar masses, a radius of 0.53 solar radii, and a temperature of 4380 K, making it less massive, smaller, and cooler than the Sun. One planet is known to orbit this star.

That planet is Kepler-1880 b, a Super-Earth discovered by the transit method in 2021. It completes an orbit every 6.31 days. Its radius is 2.12 Earth radii, larger than Earth's.
