Kepler-1839 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1839 is a star located 3710 light-years from Earth. It has 1.03 solar masses, 0.939 solar radii, and a temperature of 5930 K. One planet has been found orbiting this star.

That planet is Kepler-1839 b, a Super-Earth discovered by the transit method in 2021. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1839 b completes an orbit every 5.06 days. Its radius is 1.95 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and its size class covers planets reaching 2.5 times Earth's radius.
