Kepler-1835 and Its Neptune-Like Planet

Kepler-1835 is a star located 4580 light-years away, with a mass of 0.922 solar masses and a radius of 0.961 solar radii. Its temperature is 5900 K. The system hosts one known planet, Kepler-1835 b.

Kepler-1835 b was discovered in 2021 by the transit method, which detects the small dip in a star's brightness when a planet passes in front of it. This planet is Neptune-like, a size class that reaches 4 times Earth's radius. Its radius is 3.53 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. It completes one orbit in 12 days.
