Kepler-1804 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1804 is a star 1420 light-years away with a single known planet. The star has a mass of 0.929 solar masses, a radius of 1.67 solar radii, and a temperature of 5110 K, which is cooler than the Sun.

The planet Kepler-1804 b is classified as a Super-Earth, a size class that compares radius with Earth's. It was discovered in 2021 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1804 b orbits every 12.3 days, and its radius of 1.6 Earth radii is larger than Earth's.
