Kepler-1777 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1777 is a star located 2020 light-years away, and one planet has been found in orbit around it. The host star has a mass of 0.99 solar masses, a radius of 1.02 solar radii, and a temperature of 5600 K. Its reported mass estimate is smaller than the Sun's, its radius estimate is larger than the Sun's, and its temperature is cooler than the Sun's.

The planet Kepler-1777 b is a Super-Earth discovered by the transit method in 2021. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1777 b completes an orbit every 12.2 days and has a radius of 2.13 Earth radii, which is larger than Earth's.
