Kepler-1652 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1652 is a single known star, and one planet has been identified in its orbit. The star is 3.2 billion years old, with a mass of 0.404 solar masses and a radius of 0.382 solar radii. Its reported temperature is 3640 K. The star's reported mass estimate is smaller than the Sun's, and its reported radius estimate is also smaller than the Sun's. Its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's.

The host star's one known planet is Kepler-1652 b, a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2017. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Repeated dips help establish orbital periods. Kepler-1652 b completes an orbit in 38.1 days. Its radius is 1.6 Earth radii, larger than Earth's.
