Kepler-1569 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1569 is a star 3080 light-years away with one known planet. The host star is 2.45 billion years old, has a mass of 1.25 solar masses, a radius of 1.4 solar radii, and a temperature of 6320 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's.

The planet, Kepler-1569 b, is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1569 b has an orbital period of 5.79 days and a radius of 1.68 Earth radii, which is larger than Earth's radius.
