Kepler-1547 b: A Sub-Earth

Kepler-1547 is a star located 2200 light-years away. One planet orbits this host. The star's reported mass estimate is larger than the Sun's, at 1.12 solar masses, and its reported radius estimate is larger than the Sun's, at 1.18 solar radii. Its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's, at 6080 K, and it is 3.39 billion years old.

The planet is Kepler-1547 b, a Sub-Earth discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1547 b completes an orbit every 0.693 days, and it has a radius of 0.9 Earth radii, smaller than Earth.
