Kepler-1500 and Its Earth-Like Planet

Kepler-1500 is a single star located 3970 light-years away, with one planet known to orbit it. The host star is 4.07 billion years old and has a mass of 1 solar masses and a radius of 1 solar radii, with a temperature of 5850 K.

The system's only cataloged planet is Kepler-1500 b, classified as Earth-like. It was discovered by transit in 2016, when the planet passed in front of its star from our viewpoint and caused a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1500 b completes an orbit every 15 days and has a radius of 1.2 Earth radii, a reported radius estimate larger than Earth's.
