Kepler-1368 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1368 is a star located 5340 light-years away, and it hosts one known planet. The star is 3.47 billion years old and has a mass of 1.07 solar masses, a radius of 1.08 solar radii, and a temperature of 5910 K. Its reported mass estimate is larger than the Sun's.

The system's only listed planet is Kepler-1368 b, a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1368 b has an orbital period of 0.676 days, the time it takes to complete one orbit. Its radius is 1.65 Earth radii, and its reported radius estimate is larger than Earth's.
