Kepler-1360 and Its Neptune-Like Planet

Kepler-1360 is a star located 4950 light-years away. It is 1.55 billion years old, has a mass of 1.51 solar masses, a radius of 1.83 solar radii, and a temperature of 6780 K. Its reported mass estimate is larger than the Sun's, its reported radius estimate is larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's. One planet has been found orbiting this star.

That planet is Kepler-1360 b, a Neptune-like world discovered in 2016 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1360 b has a radius of 3.4 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and an orbital period of 40.5 days.
