Kepler-1110 and Its Neptune-Like Planet

Kepler-1110 is a star located 2370 light-years away, and it hosts one known planet. The star is 4.79 billion years old and has a mass of 0.73 solar masses, a radius of 0.7 solar radii, and a temperature of 4780 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are both smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's.

The planet Kepler-1110 b is Neptune-like and was discovered in 2016 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. It orbits with an orbital period of 9.69 days and has a radius of 2.66 Earth radii, which is larger than Earth's.
