Kepler-1042 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1042 is a star with one known planet. The host star is estimated to be 4.79 billion years old, with a mass of 0.75 solar masses and a radius of 0.72 solar radii. Its temperature is 4820 K. The star's reported mass and radius estimates are smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's.

The system's only listed planet is Kepler-1042 b, a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1042 b orbits its star with an orbital period of 10.1 days. Its radius is 2.19 Earth radii, larger than Earth's.
