Kepler-1834 is a star located 1630 light-years away, and two planets have been found in orbit around it. The star is estimated to be 6.31 billion years old. Its reported mass estimate is 0.746 solar masses and its reported radius estimate is 0.719 solar radii, both smaller than the Sun's. With a reported temperature of 4840 K, it is also cooler than the Sun.
Both planets were found by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1834 b was discovered in 2021 and Kepler-1834 c in 2023. Both are classified as Earth-like, a size class that stays within 1.5 times Earth's radius. Kepler-1834 b has a radius of 1.46 Earth radii, the largest among the listed planets, and an orbital period of 4.6 days, the longest among them. Kepler-1834 c has the smallest radius among the listed planets, 1.22 Earth radii, and the shortest year, 0.767 days. Both planets' reported radius estimates are larger than Earth's.
