Kepler-1631 and Its Earth-like Planet

Kepler-1631 is a star located 4260 light-years away, with a mass of 0.97 solar masses, a radius of 0.95 solar radii, a temperature of 5680 K, and an age of 4.17 billion years. One planet orbits it.

That planet is Kepler-1631 b, an Earth-like world discovered in 2016 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. Its orbital period is 4.1 days, and its radius is 1.35 Earth radii, a reported radius estimate larger than Earth's.
