Kepler-151 and Its Two Known Planets

Kepler-151 is a star located 2120 light-years away, and two planets have been found orbiting it. The host star is estimated to be 4.68 billion years old, with a mass of 0.87 solar masses and a radius of 0.84 solar radii. Its reported temperature is 5360 K, cooler than the Sun's, and both its mass and radius estimates are smaller than the Sun's.

The two planets were both discovered by transit in 2014. Kepler-151 b is classified as Neptune-like, with a radius of 3.06 Earth radii and an orbital period of 15.2 days. Kepler-151 c is classified as a Super-Earth, with a radius of 2.09 Earth radii and an orbital period of 24.7 days. Both planets have radii larger than Earth's. Among the listed planets, Kepler-151 b has the shortest year and the largest radius, while Kepler-151 c has the longest year and the smallest radius.
