K2-326 is a star 921 light-years away with one known planet. The host star has a mass of 0.62 solar masses and a radius of 0.678 solar radii, both smaller than the Sun's corresponding values. Its temperature is 4000 K, cooler than the Sun's.
The system's only cataloged planet, K2-326 b, was discovered by transit in 2020. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. K2-326 b completes an orbit in 1.26 days and has a radius of 2.28 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. Its size class, Super-Earth, compares radius with Earth's rather than indicating composition.
