Wolf 327 is an M2.5 V star, a small, cool red dwarf, located 93.1 light-years away. Its spectral type places it among the coolest and reddest stellar classes, and the trailing "V" marks it as a main-sequence dwarf. The star is estimated to be 4.1 billion years old, with a mass of 0.405 solar masses and a radius of 0.406 solar radii, both smaller than the Sun's corresponding values. Its temperature of 3540 K is cooler than the Sun's.
A single planet is known to orbit this host. Wolf 327 b was discovered by transit in 2024, and the repeated dimming of the star as the planet crosses in front of it helped establish the planet's orbital period of 0.573 days. The planet's radius of 1.24 Earth radii is larger than Earth's, and its Earth-like classification reflects that its radius stays within 1.5 times Earth's. Its mass estimate is 2.53 Earth masses, larger than Earth's. The planet's mean density is 7.31 g/cm³, 1.33 times Earth's, making it denser than our own world despite its greater size.
