WASP-151 b: A Jupiter-Like World Around a Sun-Like Star

WASP-151 is a G1 star 1480 light-years away, with an age of 5.1 billion years, a mass of 1.08 solar masses, a radius of 1.14 solar radii, and a temperature of 5870 K. Its reported radius estimate is larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's. One planet is known to orbit this host.

That planet, WASP-151 b, is a Jupiter-like world discovered by transit in 2017. It has a mass of 100 Earth masses and a radius of 13.3 Earth radii, both larger than Earth's. Its mean density is 0.235 g/cm³, 0.0426 times Earth's. The planet completes an orbit in 4.53 days.
