TOI-5713 is an M-type dwarf, a small, cool red star 133 light-years away. Its spectral type is M3.5+/-0.5, with a temperature of 3230 K, making it cooler than the Sun. The star's reported mass estimate is 0.265 solar masses and its reported radius estimate is 0.299 solar radii, both smaller than the Sun's. Its age carries a reported upper limit of 4.5 billion years. One planet is known to orbit this host.
That planet is TOI-5713 b, a Super-Earth discovered by the transit method in 2024. A transit occurs when a planet crosses in front of its star from our viewpoint, dimming the star's light slightly and helping establish the planet's orbital period. TOI-5713 b completes one orbit in 10.4 days and has a radius of 1.77 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. The planet's radius places it in the Super-Earth class.
