TOI-3757 is an M0 V star, a small, cool red dwarf, located 591 light-years away. The star is 7.1 billion years old and has a mass of 0.64 solar masses, a radius of 0.62 solar radii, and a temperature of 3910 K. Its mass and radius are smaller than the Sun's, and its temperature is cooler than the Sun's. One planet orbits this host.
That planet, TOI-3757 b, was discovered by the transit method in 2022. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness; repeated dips help establish orbital periods. TOI-3757 b completes an orbit in 3.44 days. It is Jupiter-like in size classification, with a radius of 12 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and a mass of 85.3 Earth masses, also larger than Earth's. Its mean density is 0.272 g/cm³, 0.0494 times Earth's.
