TOI-2567: A Distant Star and Its Jupiter-Like Planet

TOI-2567 is a star located 1650 light-years from Earth. It has an age of 7.6 billion years, a mass of 1.13 solar masses, a radius of 1.69 solar radii, and a temperature of 5610 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, while its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's. One planet orbits this host.

That planet, TOI-2567 b, is a Jupiter-like world discovered by transit in 2022. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. TOI-2567 b completes an orbit every 5.98 days. Its radius of 10.9 Earth radii is larger than Earth's, and its mass of 63.9 Earth masses is also larger than Earth's. Its mean density is 0.27 g/cm³, 0.0489 times Earth's.
