TOI-2545 b: A Neptune-Like World in a Distant Star System

TOI-2545 is a star located 349 light-years away with a mass of 1.06 solar masses and a temperature of 5850 K. Its radius is 1.25 solar radii, which is larger than the Sun's. This star hosts one known planet.

TOI-2545 b is a Neptune-like planet discovered in 2022 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. It orbits every 7.99 days, and its radius is 2.75 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. As a Neptune-like planet, it falls within the size class reaching up to four times Earth's radius.
