TOI-2337 and Its Jupiter-Like Planet

TOI-2337 is a star 1750 light-years away with an age of 4.9 billion years, a mass of 1.33 solar masses, a radius of 3.22 solar radii, and a temperature of 4780 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, while its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's. One planet orbits this host.

That planet, TOI-2337 b, is a Jupiter-like world discovered by transit in 2022. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. TOI-2337 b has a mass of 509 Earth masses - roughly 1.6 times Jupiter's mass - and a radius of 10.1 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. Its mean density is 2.73 g/cm³, 0.495 times Earth's. It completes an orbit every 2.99 days.
