TOI-1806 is a star 181 light-years away. Its mass is 0.393 solar masses and its radius is 0.402 solar radii, both smaller than the Sun's corresponding values. Its temperature of 3270 K is cooler than the Sun's. One planet is known to orbit this star.
That planet, TOI-1806.01, was discovered in 2024 by the transit method, in which a planet passing in front of its star from our viewpoint causes a small dip in observed brightness. Repeated dips help establish orbital periods. TOI-1806.01 completes one orbit every 15.1 days. Its radius is 3.41 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and its size places it in the Neptune-like class.
