TOI-1105 and Its Neptune-like Planet

TOI-1105 is a star 259 light-years away with 0.74 solar masses, 0.756 solar radii, and a temperature of 4660 K, making it smaller, less massive, and cooler than the Sun. One planet orbits this host.

TOI-1105 b is a Neptune-like planet discovered by transit in 2026, the method in which a planet crosses in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness; repeated dips help establish orbital periods. It orbits every 10.9 days at a radius of 3.06 Earth radii, larger than Earth's.
