Kepler-893 and Its Neptune-Like Planet

Kepler-893 is a star 4190 light-years away, and one planet has been found in orbit around it. The host star is 3.8 billion years old and has a mass of 1 solar masses and a radius of 0.99 solar radii, with a temperature of 5820 K.

The system's sole known planet is Kepler-893 b, a Neptune-like world discovered by the transit method in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-893 b orbits its star every 6.34 days and has a radius of 3.03 Earth radii. That reported radius estimate is larger than Earth's.
