Kepler-834 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-834 is a star located 2070 light-years away. It is 2.69 billion years old, with a mass of 0.7 solar masses and a radius of 0.66 solar radii. Its temperature is 4550 K. The star's reported mass estimate is smaller than the Sun's, its reported radius estimate is smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's. One planet is known to orbit this host.

That planet is Kepler-834 b, a Super-Earth discovered in 2016 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. It orbits every 13.3 days at a radius of 2.02 Earth radii, larger than Earth's radius.
