Kepler-769 is a star located 3810 light-years away, and two planets have been found orbiting it. The host star is estimated to be 2.88 billion years old, with a mass of 1.19 solar masses and a radius of 1.28 solar radii. Its temperature is 6190 K, hotter than the Sun's, while its reported mass and radius estimates are both larger than the Sun's.
The two planets were both discovered by transit in 2016. Kepler-769 b is a Neptune-like planet with a radius of 2.92 Earth radii and an orbital period of 7.43 days, giving it the shortest year among the listed planets. Kepler-769 c is a Super-Earth with a radius of 1.79 Earth radii and an orbital period of 16 days, the longest among the listed planets and the smallest radius of the pair. Both planets have radius estimates larger than Earth's.
