Kepler-660 and Its Neptune-Like Planet

Kepler-660 is a star located 1850 light-years away, with one known planet in orbit around it. The host star is 4.57 billion years old and has a mass of 0.75 solar masses, a radius of 0.71 solar radii, and a temperature of 4780 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's.

The sole planet, Kepler-660 b, is a Neptune-like world discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-660 b completes an orbit every 9.27 days and has a radius of 2.57 Earth radii, a reported radius estimate larger than Earth's.
