Kepler-501 and Its Two Known Planets

Kepler-501 is a star located 3670 light-years away. It has 1.03 solar masses, 1.04 solar radii, and a temperature of 5900 K, which is hotter than the Sun's. Its age is 3.31 billion years. Two planets are known to orbit this host.

Kepler-501 b is a Jupiter-like planet discovered by transit in 2016. It has a radius of 4.3 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and an orbital period of 5.64 days. Kepler-501 c is a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2021, with a radius of 1.68 Earth radii, also larger than Earth's, and an orbital period of 3.62 days. Among the listed planets, Kepler-501 c has the shortest year and the smallest radius, while Kepler-501 b has the longest year and the largest radius.
