Kepler-468 and Its Jupiter-Like Planet

Kepler-468 is a star located 1440 light-years away. It is 2 billion years old, has a mass of 0.96 solar masses, a radius of 0.87 solar radii, and a temperature of 5500 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are smaller than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's. One planet is known to orbit this host.

That planet is Kepler-468 b, a Jupiter-like world discovered by transit in 2016. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-468 b orbits every 38.5 days and has a radius of 13.3 Earth radii, larger than Earth's. Its size class reflects that radius rather than its composition.
