Kepler-363 is a star located 2490 light-years away. It is 5.25 billion years old and has a mass of 1.1 solar masses, a radius of 1.29 solar radii, and a temperature of 5680 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, while its reported temperature is cooler than the Sun's. Three planets orbit this host.
All three planets were discovered by transit in 2014, the method in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-363 b is an Earth-like planet with an orbital period of 3.61 days and a radius of 1.16 Earth radii. Kepler-363 c is a Super-Earth with an orbital period of 7.54 days and a radius of 1.69 Earth radii. Kepler-363 d is also a Super-Earth, with an orbital period of 11.9 days and a radius of 2.05 Earth radii. Among the listed planets, Kepler-363 b has the shortest year, Kepler-363 c has the second-shortest year, and Kepler-363 d has the longest year by reported estimates. Kepler-363 b also has the smallest radius, Kepler-363 c has the second-smallest radius, and Kepler-363 d has the largest radius. The reported radius estimates of Kepler-363 c and Kepler-363 d are larger than Earth's.
