Kepler-324 is a star located 1640 light-years away, and four planets have been found to orbit it. The star is 5.37 billion years old, with a mass of 0.87 solar masses and a radius of 0.83 solar radii. Its temperature is 5260 K. Each of these stellar measurements is smaller or cooler than the corresponding value for the Sun.
All four planets were detected by the transit method, in which a planet passing in front of its star causes a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-324 b is an Earth-like planet with a radius of 1.14 Earth radii and an orbital period of 4.39 days. Kepler-324 e is a Super-Earth with a radius of 2.04 Earth radii and an orbital period of 14 days. KOI-1831 d is Earth-like, with a radius of 1.13 Earth radii, a mass of 2.23 Earth masses, and an orbital period of 34.2 days; its mean density is 8.52 g/cm³, 1.55 times Earth's. Kepler-324 c is Neptune-like, with a radius of 3.15 Earth radii and an orbital period of 51.8 days. Every one of these radii is larger than Earth's.
Among the listed planets, Kepler-324 b has the shortest year, at 4.39 days, and the second-smallest radius, at 1.14 Earth radii. Kepler-324 e has the second-shortest year, at 14 days, and the second-largest radius, at 2.04 Earth radii. KOI-1831 d has the second-longest year, at 34.2 days, and the smallest radius, at 1.13 Earth radii. Kepler-324 c has the longest year, at 51.8 days, and the largest radius, at 3.15 Earth radii.
