Kepler-1969 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1969 is a star 3930 light-years away with one known planet. The host star has a mass of 1.11 solar masses, a radius of 1.01 solar radii, and a temperature of 6050 K, which is hotter than the Sun's reported temperature.

The system's only listed planet is Kepler-1969 b, a Super-Earth discovered by transit in 2021. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1969 b orbits its star every 6.65 days, and its radius of 1.68 Earth radii is larger than Earth's. That radius places it within the Super-Earth size class, which reaches 2.5 times Earth's radius.
