Kepler-1914 and Its Neptune-Like Planet

Kepler-1914 is a star 5290 light-years away with one known planet in orbit. The host star has a mass of 1.05 solar masses, a radius of 0.96 solar radii, and a temperature of 5980 K.

The planet, Kepler-1914 b, was discovered in 2021 by the transit method, in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. It is classified as Neptune-like, a size class that reaches 4 times Earth's radius. Kepler-1914 b has a radius of 2.94 Earth radii, and its reported radius estimate is larger than Earth's. It completes an orbit every 30.8 days.
