Kepler-1860 and Its Lone Known Planet

Kepler-1860 is a star 1430 light-years away with 0.96 solar masses, 0.897 solar radii, and a temperature of 5490 K. Its radius is smaller than the Sun's, and its temperature is cooler than the Sun's. One planet has been found orbiting this star.

That planet is Kepler-1860 b, an Earth-like world discovered in 2021 by the transit method, in which a planet passing in front of its star from our viewpoint causes a small dip in observed brightness. Repeated dips help establish orbital periods. Kepler-1860 b completes an orbit every 12.7 days. Its radius is 1.14 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and an Earth-like classification means it stays within 1.5 times Earth's radius. Radius comparisons describe size, not composition.
