Kepler-1845 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1845 is a star located 2320 light-years from Earth, and it hosts one known planet. The star has a reported mass estimate of 0.79 solar masses, a reported radius estimate of 0.732 solar radii, and a temperature of 4840 K. Its mass and radius are smaller than the Sun's, and its temperature is cooler.

The planet is Kepler-1845 b, classified as a Super-Earth and discovered by transit in 2021. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1845 b's reported radius estimate is 2.44 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and its orbital period is 11.6 days.
