Kepler-1776 and Its Neptune-Like Planet

Kepler-1776 is a star 2250 light-years from Earth with a mass of 1.09 solar masses, a radius of 1.13 solar radii, and a temperature of 5960 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's. One planet is known to orbit this star.

That planet, Kepler-1776 b, is Neptune-like, a size class that extends to four times Earth's radius. Its radius is 2.61 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and it completes an orbit every 35 days. It was discovered by transit in 2021, when it passed in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness.
