Kepler-1763 and Its Earth-Like Planet

Kepler-1763 is a star 2470 light-years away with one known planet orbiting it. The host star has a mass of 1.1 solar masses and a radius of 1.28 solar radii, and its temperature is 5970 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and it is hotter than the Sun.

The single planet is Kepler-1763 b, an Earth-like world discovered by transit in 2021. A transit occurs when a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint, causing a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1763 b orbits every 1.48 days at a radius of 1.15 Earth radii, larger than Earth's radius. As an Earth-like planet, it stays within 1.5 times Earth's radius.
