Kepler-1674 and Its Neptune-Like Planet

Kepler-1674 is a star located 3300 light-years away, and it hosts one known planet. The star has a reported mass of 0.96 solar masses, a reported radius of 0.877 solar radii, and a temperature of 5470 K. Its mass and radius are both smaller than the Sun's, and its temperature is cooler than the Sun's.

The planet Kepler-1674 b was discovered in 2020 by the transit method, which detects the small dip in a star's brightness when a planet passes in front of it. It is classified as Neptune-like, a size class for planets with radii up to four times Earth's. Kepler-1674 b has an orbital period of 62.6 days and a radius of 3.21 Earth radii, larger than Earth's.
