Kepler-1641 is a star located 2810 light-years away. It is 3.02 billion years old and has a mass of 1.12 solar masses, which is larger than the Sun's mass, and a radius of 1.19 solar radii. Its temperature is 6150 K, hotter than the Sun's temperature. Two planets are known to orbit this host.
Both planets were discovered by transit in 2016, the method in which a planet passes in front of its star from our viewpoint and causes a small dip in observed brightness. Kepler-1641 b is Neptune-like, with an orbital period of 19.7 days and a radius of 3.11 Earth radii, larger than Earth's radius. Kepler-1641 c is also Neptune-like, with an orbital period of 32.7 days and a radius of 2.95 Earth radii, also larger than Earth's radius. A Neptune-like classification compares radius with Earth's, reaching up to four times Earth's radius.
Among the listed planets, Kepler-1641 b has the shortest year by reported estimates, at 19.7 days, and the largest radius, at 3.11 Earth radii. Kepler-1641 c has the longest year by reported estimates, at 32.7 days, and the smallest radius, at 2.95 Earth radii.
