Kepler-1602 and Its Earth-Like Planet

Kepler-1602 is a star 2050 light-years away with one known planet. The host star is 2.51 billion years old, has a mass of 1.22 solar masses, a radius of 1.36 solar radii, and a temperature of 6300 K. Its mass, radius, and temperature are all larger or hotter than the Sun's.

The single planet, Kepler-1602 b, is an Earth-like world discovered in 2016 by the transit method, in which a planet passing in front of its star dims the star's light slightly. It orbits every 11.2 days, and its radius of 1.34 Earth radii is larger than Earth's.
