Kepler-1592 and Its Super-Earth

Kepler-1592 is a star 5350 light-years away with one known planet in orbit. The host star is 2.69 billion years old and has a mass of 1.18 solar masses, a radius of 1.28 solar radii, and a temperature of 6210 K. Its reported mass and radius estimates are larger than the Sun's, and its reported temperature is hotter than the Sun's.

The sole listed planet, Kepler-1592 b, was discovered in 2016 by the transit method, in which a planet passing in front of its star from our viewpoint causes a small dip in observed brightness. It is classified as a Super-Earth, a size class reaching 2.5 times Earth's radius. Its radius is 1.54 Earth radii, larger than Earth's, and it completes an orbit every 3.06 days.
